Greetings Compton Families,


As you are aware, Compton Elementary will be closed until further notice is provided by the Cobb County School District. Digital learning will be utilized with all students. Daily digital learning assignments will be posted to our First Grade Blog each day by 9:00 AM. Each day the digital learning assignments should take one hour to complete. Our blog may be accessed through the Compton website at www.cobbk12.org/compton. We will be monitoring daily use on the digital platforms. Teachers will have virtual office hours from 9:00 AM -10:30 AM Monday through Friday for parents or students to reach out to them via email or typical daily class communication app with questions or assistance with assignments.


For students present on Friday, March 13th, we have distributed a resource packet and math workbooks for students who would like to complete additional assignments. If your child completes these additional activities, please return them to us when school resumes. Library books have been sent home with each student too, as at home reading is very important to student success.
